There are presently many programs of the KFHA that require annual funding and some ad hoc ones that may be a one time event:

• Operation Turnaround: in its 23rd year.
• POLICE and FIREFIGHTER OF THE YEAR AWARDS Recognition Program in its 25th year.
• Senior LIFT Center, started by some senior citizens of the KFHA membership as a self standing 501(C3) non-for-profit CBO, in its 14th year.
• The Sunset Corp of the Salvation Army.
• Youth Crime Watch and Anti-Graffiti School Education Program
• The Annual American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life" Community Awareness and Fundraising Event. Individual HOAs and the KFHA have team participants.
• Various Youth Sports (Boys and Girls) Organizations for Football, Baseball, Softball, Soccer and any other sport that requests help.
• Neighborhood Community Associations Special or Annual Events.
• "Big Hearts For Little Hearts" Foundation, supporting the needs of children who are dialysis patients through a Community Chili Cook-off fundraising event.
• General financial operating funds for the administrative and legal costs of the KFHA.
• The web site development and yearly maintenance expenses: Officers and Directors Liability Insurance premium, postal mailings, stationery and office supplies, monthly Town Hall event advertisement/announcements in the Herald/Neighbors.
• Funding the plans for a future Kendall Communities Charitable Foundation.
• The Long Term vision of the Board of Directors to one day have the financial wherewithal for a full time Executive Director and staff , in a visible store front office.
